How PetFX works

Why one value site says Win and another says Fair

Adopt Me value sites do not always agree. PetFX helps you compare them in one place, so you can see the bigger picture before you trade.

Market Rank

Imagine every value site making its own list from best to worst. One site may rank a pet very high. Another may put it a little lower.

PetFX compares those rankings and shows where the pet or item usually sits across the market. It does not invent an official value. It helps you see the overall picture.

Variants matter

A normal pet, a ride pet, a fly ride pet, a neon, and a mega are not the same thing. When the data allows it, PetFX compares like with like so players are not mixing different markets together.

Source coverage

Some pets and items appear on lots of value sites. Others only appear on one or two.

More sources usually means a clearer picture. Fewer sources does not mean the item is bad. It just means PetFX has less information to compare.

Do the value sites agree?

Sometimes the value sites are very close. That is a stronger signal because several sources are saying a similar thing.

Sometimes they are far apart. That does not always mean something is wrong. It can mean the market is changing, one site updated first, or players disagree about the pet.

When the sites disagree, slow down and check the trade more carefully before you accept.

WFL Trade Checker

WFL means Win, Fair, or Lose. Add your offer and their offer, and PetFX compares both sides using the value information it has.

Treat it as a second opinion. If you really love the pet, you might still take a trade. If something feels rushed, risky, or too good to be true, do not accept it just because a tool says it looks okay.

Why values can be different

Value sites can disagree for normal reasons:

  • One site may update faster after a new event or pet release.
  • Some pets are rare, but not everyone wants them.
  • Some pets are popular even when they are not the rarest.
  • Fly, ride, neon, and mega versions can be valued differently.
  • Different trading communities can care about different pets.
  • Traderie-style listings can show what players are asking for, not always what trades actually finish at.

Trading safely

PetFX is fan-made and unofficial. It is not Roblox, Uplift Games, or Adopt Me. PetFX does not sell pets, Robux, or trades.

Never share your password, login code, or private account details. Be careful with trust trades, cross-trades, fake middlemen, links in chat, and anyone trying to move a trade outside the normal game systems.

What does PetFX Market Rank mean?

Market Rank shows where a pet or item usually sits when PetFX compares the value sources that cover it. It is not an official price.

Does low source coverage mean an item is bad?

No. It only means fewer tracked value sites currently cover that pet, item, or variant. Some rare or newer items may have fewer comparison points.

What does agreement mean?

Agreement shows whether value sites are close together or far apart. If they agree, the signal is clearer. If they disagree, check more carefully before trading.

What does the WFL checker do?

WFL means Win, Fair, or Lose. PetFX compares both sides of your trade using the available value information and gives a second opinion.

Why do value sites disagree?

They update at different times, use different scales, follow different communities, and may treat fly, ride, neon, and mega pets differently.
